The Eco-Exmoor Brand was created back in 2002 by Nick Backhouse to promote the benefits of renewable energy systems and ecological products. The Eco-Exmoor brand was born out of a lifelong passion for the environment and a belief that we have to be more responsible in the way we use natural resources to heat our homes and businesses. Early customers may remember Nick riding on his motorcycle, collecting information and conducting surveys.
Eco-Exmoor was incorporated in 2003 and expanded to cover Devon and Somerset.
Dorset and Bath were added after Andy Barrett became a Director and expanded into the Wellington Office in 2008.

As a strategic move, the two Directors decided that from June 2012, Andy would cover the areas largely outside Devon and closer to Wellington; leaving Nick to continue using the brand of Eco-Exmoor that he had created. Nick will look after the areas primarily within Devon and customers of the Eco-Exmoor brand, who are closer to Barnstaple. Nick continues the on-going work of promoting Eco-Exmoor Devon Ltd; the newest use of the brand and incorporated in March 2012.
Now, with renewed vigour, our purpose is simple: to educate, guide and inspire people to reduce their environmental impact by raising the profile of ecological products, promoting the conservation of resources and implementing the use of renewable energy.
After a decade of providing these services to over 900 satisfied customers under the Eco-Exmoor Brand, we are proud to be delivering a growing portfolio of products and services across the Devon area.
